Volleyball Recap: Winside Takes a Loss

Winside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wausa Vikings. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Aftyn Schutt paced Winside's offense, picking up four kills. Schutt got some help from Tinsley Schwedhelm and her seven assists.

Winside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Wausa, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Winside has already played their next contest (against Hartington-Newcastle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wausa, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Santee on the 13th.
