Meanwhile, New Brockton suffered their closest loss since December 28, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Carroll by a score of 51-48. The defeat continues a trend for the Gamecocks in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Brockton, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
