Basketball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

Union County lost to Clinton back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots were dealt a 70-29 loss at the hands of the Dragons. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union County will host Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Clinton, they will be playing at home against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
