Softball Recap: Master's Academy Patriots vs. Port St. Lucie Jaguars

Master's Academy won against Westwood last Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Master's Academy Patriots beat the Port St. Lucie Jaguars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-1. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Nola Matz looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Elyanah DeCosta and Gia Gasbarro did most of the damage at the plate: DeCosta scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Gasbarro scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Ellamae Crooks was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
