Basketball Game Preview: Sutton Sammies vs. Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers

The Sutton Sammies will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sutton will be strutting in after a victory while Blackstone Valley RVT will be coming in after a defeat.

Sutton is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Uxbridge. Sutton enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over Uxbridge on Friday.

Sutton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gus Jacobson out in front who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave Jacobson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Chase Gara, who put up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 76-37 loss at the hands of Hopedale. The Beavers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.
