Recap: McKinley Tigers vs. Castle Knights
The McKinley Tigers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They strolled past Castle with points to spare, taking the game 56-38. McKinley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Castle lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aukanai'i Arcala. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Keiden Uehara was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
McKinley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Castle, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Moanalua the next time they take the court. Castle will host Moanalua at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while McKinley will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
