DuQuoin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Herrin Tigers 47-6. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly 41 points.

A big part of DuQuoin's victory came down to the chemistry between Jeremiah Jones and his top target Andrew Jones. Jeremiah rushed for 99 yards and one score on only 11 carries while Andrew rushed for 86 yards and one TD.

DuQuoin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Herrin didn't rushed for any rushing yards.

DuQuoin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Herrin, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

DuQuoin and Herrin will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians are set to take on their familiar foe Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Herrin will face off against rival Carterville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
