Baseball Game Preview: JAG Jaguars vs. Carroll Eagles

The JAG Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Carroll Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. JAG will be strutting in after a win while Carroll will be coming in after a loss.

While Jaguars fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Park Crossing two weeks ago, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jaguars have posted since March 14, 2025.

Laking Anderson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jamori Mallard, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They came up short against Long on Monday, falling 17-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
