Basketball Game Preview: Strong Rock Christian Patriots vs. St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings

Strong Rock Christian hasn't had much luck against St. Anne-Pacelli recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Strong Rock Christian Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings at 7:30 p.m.

Strong Rock Christian is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-38 heartbreaker at the hands of Westfield School.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 68-61 win over Grovetown. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Warriors are ranked 76th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Anne-Pacelli's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Strong Rock Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Strong Rock Christian suffered a grim 62-38 defeat to St. Anne-Pacelli when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Strong Rock Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
