Recap: Glenview College Prep Mustangs vs. Heritage Academy Heroes
The Glenview College Prep Mustangs pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 63-62 to Heritage Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (59), Glenview College Prep still had to take the loss.
Heritage Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaden Bergman out in front who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bergman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Campbell, who scored 19 points.
Glenview College Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Heritage Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenview College Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dream City Christian National at 4:00 p.m. on January 24th. Dream City Christian National is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Heritage Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Southwest Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m.
