Soccer Game Preview: Windward vs. Crossroads

Windward is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Crossroads is on a eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Windward Wildcats will welcome the Crossroads Roadrunners at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Crossroads heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Windward took over last week. Windward had just enough and edged Viewpoint out 2-1. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, on TuesdayBrentwood School kept up with Crossroads until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Crossroads never let Brentwood School onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Roadrunners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Crossroads' win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Windward, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
