Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Red Hawks vs. Ludlow Lions

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Frontier Regional was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ludlow Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Hawks as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Frontier Regional not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ludlow between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.

Frontier Regional found their leader in freshman Evan Maio, who had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Maio.
