They came out on top against West Wendover by a score of 50-39. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 22 to 9 on the offensive boards, as Coral Academy of Science - Reno did.
Ashleen Kaur had a dynamite game for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, scoring 14 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kaur has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacquelyn Lupercio, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Despite the loss, West Wendover still got an impressive performance from Lesly Tovar, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Tovar hasn't dropped below three steals for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Shay Neaman, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Coral Academy of Science - Reno's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for West Wendover, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
