On Tuesday, Mill Springs Academy came up short against Tapestry Charter and fell 59-48. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mill Springs Academy in their matchups with Tapestry Charter: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the defeat, Mill Springs Academy saw an underclassman step up: Hampton Hill scored 24 points. That was a full 50% of Mill Springs Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Frommer, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to LaGrange Academy, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They took a hard 53-36 fall against Oak Mountain Academy on Tuesday.
Mill Springs Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for LaGrange Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
