Baseball Game Preview: Choctaw County Chargers vs. East Webster Wolverines

The Choctaw County Chargers will take on the East Webster Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Choctaw County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Louisville by a score of 15-10 on Saturday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Webster hadn't done well against New Hope recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. East Webster came out on top in a nail-biter against New Hope, sneaking past 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

East Webster's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Choctaw County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
