Softball Recap: Webber Comes Up Short

Webber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Hill Salukis. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Salukis this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Webber's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Red Hill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webber will face off against Galatia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Hill, they will challenge Waltonville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
