Basketball Recap: Springfield Beats Rossview for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Springfield hadn't done well against Rossview recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Springfield Yellow Jackets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Rossview Hawks 52-49. For the Yellow Jackets, this counts as revenge for the 75-49 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Rossview lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Roland Morton, who went 5 for 10 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Deal, who posted nine points.
