Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Episcopal School of Jacksonville walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bolles Bulldogs on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in September, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Episcopal School of Jacksonville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 25-13, 25-22.

Alexis Galani paced Episcopal School of Jacksonville's offense, picking up 15 kills. Galani got some help from Fenley Almond and her 21 assists. Quinn Edwards and Bianca Brzezicka kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Episcopal School of Jacksonville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Bolles, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Coincidentally, Episcopal School of Jacksonville and Bolles will both be playing Wolfson the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
