Volleyball Recap: Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Comes Up Short

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy lost against Norwich RVT on May 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Phoenix fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Norwich RVT scored at least 13 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 15-13.

Among those leading the charge was Landon O'Brien, who had 16 digs and one assist. Max Stimson was another key player, getting 11 digs and one assist.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Norwich RVT, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Civic Leadership on the 22nd. After both having extra time off, Norwich RVT and Rockville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
