Baseball Recap: Dos Palos Falls Short of Chavez in the Playoffs

Dos Palos and Chavez squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Dos Palos had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Broncos have suffered since April 14th.

Dos Palos' loss dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Chavez, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Dos Palos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chavez, they will challenge Kern Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncs have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season.
