            Softball Recap: Anthem Prep Eagles vs. San Pasqual Valley Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Anthem Prep entered their tilt with San Pasqual Valley on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Warriors 22-4. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

 Abigail Purvis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs but no hits. Purvis was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Addison Evjen was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Dylana Lee also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
 Anthem Prep  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post two or more  home runs.
Anthem Prep pushed their record up to 8-6 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 21.7 runs over those games. As for San Pasqual Valley,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Anthem Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
