Volleyball Game Preview: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Burlingame Panthers

The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs will face off against the Burlingame Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Ann Sobrato is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Rancho San Juan as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Burlingame waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars.

Burlingame never let Half Moon Bay on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-20.

Burlingame's win came from a few key players Ann Sobrato will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addie Uhrich, who had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Burlingame was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matchups.

Ann Sobrato's record now sits at 15-18. As for Burlingame, their record is now 18-13.
