Charles Henderson kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Chelsea Hornets, falling 51-27.

Charles Henderson's loss came despite strong showings from Payton Bean and Kellen Stewart. Bean gained 161 total yards, while Stewart threw for 282 yards and one TD while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt. Bean was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charles Henderson will square off against Highland Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chelsea, they will face off against Wetumpka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
