            Basketball Recap: Fitch Falcons vs. Hand Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Fitch has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  68-56 to the Hand Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  68-56  last Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Fitch still got an impressive performance from   Xavier Goode, who  went 7 of 13  on his way to 21  points and eight  rebounds. Goode is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for three straight games.  Si?Kis Reels was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and nine  boards.

 Even though they lost, Fitch  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 26  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive boards they've managed all season.
Fitch's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-3. As for Hand, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
 When Fitch and Hand next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Fitch will  challenge  East Lyme and their five-game winning streak  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Fitch is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Hand will try to stop Platt's three-game winning streak when the meet  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
