Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin lost against Glenn back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots came up short against the Rockets, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Glenn are ranked 101st).

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Glenn, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 12-1-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will take on rival Wayne Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. Meanwhile, Glenn is set to square off against their familiar foe Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
