Basketball Recap: Central Lake Comes Up Short

Central Lake was the 101-50 winner over Grand Traverse Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Lake Trojans took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs on Monday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Grand Traverse Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Central Lake has already played their next matchup (against Johannesburg-Lewiston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grand Traverse Academy will head out to take on Cadillac Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cadillac Heritage Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Grand Traverse Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
