Kennedy lost to Wagner back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Knights walked away with a 48-40 win over the Falcons. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Kennedy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derik Betances, who rushed for 157 yards and one score on only 15 carries. Jasihya Beauford was in the mix as well, providing the Knights with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kennedy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 182 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Kennedy's record now sits at 2-4. As for Wagner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-16 defeat against Tottenville on the 2nd. As for Wagner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 51-0 loss against Erasmus Hall on the 30th.
