Springfield took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Fair Haven, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cosmos beat the Slaters by a goal, winning 2-1. For Springfield, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win Fair Haven walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2019.

Springfield has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
