Volleyball Recap: Jordan Falls Short of Green Canyon in the Playoffs

Jordan and Green Canyon squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Jordan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Beetdiggers have suffered since April 17th.

Zac Hose paced Jordan's offense, picking up ten kills. Hose got some help from Shaun White and his 23 assists. Logan Slaughter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

With the defeat, Jordan broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-10. As for Green Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against West Field on the 7th. As for Green Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Orem on the 7th.
