Basketball Recap: Frontier STEM Takes a Loss

Frontier STEM was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 41-18 to the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams. One positive for Frontier STEM, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy was led to victory by Gabby Sosland and Sofia Levine. Sosland posted 16 points, while Levine had 12 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Sosland has scored at least a third of Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Sabra Bergh, who put up seven points and five rebounds.

Frontier STEM's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Frontier STEM is taking a road trip to take on Guadalupe Centers at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy has already played their next contest (against Midland Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
