Landrum is 10-0 against Liberty since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Landrum Cardinals just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Liberty Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Landrum took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-24 victory over Brashier Middle College Charter. The Cardinals pushed the score to 40-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bengal cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Liberty narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Brookland-Cayce 30-28.

Liberty's win came from a few key players Landrum will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Madison Henderson, who posted six points and 18 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie White, who put up 14 points.

Liberty smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-13 record this season. As for Landrum, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Landrum took their win against Liberty in their previous meeting on January 3rd by a conclusive 50-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Landrum since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
