Soccer Recap: Bothell/Inglemoor Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Bothell/Inglemoor barely beat Eastlake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars never let Wolves get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bothell/Inglemoor's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Eastlake are ranked 85th).

Bothell/Inglemoor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Eastlake, they dropped their record down to 4-6-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bothell/Inglemoor will challenge Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastlake, they will square off against Woodinville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
