Soccer Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep vs. University

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups will head out to take on the University Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Gonzaga Prep needed a bit of extra time to put away Lewis & Clark. They beat the Tigers by a goal, winning 1-0. Gonzaga Prep's winning goal came courtesy of Brian McGann.

Meanwhile, University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Mead.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Gonzaga Prep, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-2.

Gonzaga Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against University in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Bullpups have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
