Baseball Recap: Emmett Huskies vs. Columbia Wildcats

Emmett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Columbia Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Emmett of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on April 2nd.

Jase Bade was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-3 with two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Ryder Sheibe, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with an RBI.

On Columbia's side, Hunter Christensen made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Christensen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
