Baseball Recap: Southland Takes a Loss

Southland lost against Hayfield on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rebels fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Swenson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Southland's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Hayfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9.

While Southland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
