Football Recap: Louisa-Muscatine Comes Up Short

Louisa-Muscatine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 26-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Comets. The Falcons lost against the Comets in their previous head to head back in September of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 43-8 score last time.

Louisa-Muscatine's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cardinal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Louisa-Muscatine will face off against rival Regina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cardinal is set to challenge their familiar foe Sigourney-Keota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
