Softball Recap: Leeton Comes Up Short

Leeton managed to slip by Butler the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 18-0 to the Bears on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Leeton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Leeton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Wellington-Napoleon on the 24th. As for Butler, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-8 loss against Lone Jack on the 24th.
