Basketball Game Preview: Foard Tigers vs. Draughn Wildcats

Foard hasn't had much luck against Draughn recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will square off against the Wildcats at 7:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a proper cat-fight when Foard challenged Hibriten on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 56-48 to the Panthers.

Holden Caldwell put forth a good effort for the losing side as he shot 55% from the field on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Hedrick, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Draughn scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against St. Stephens, falling 75-54. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Foard's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Draughn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Foard came up short against Draughn when the teams last played back in February of 2021, falling 59-55. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
