Soccer Game Preview: Lathrop vs. Natomas

The Lathrop Spartans will face off against the Natomas Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lathrop's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Beyer 13-0. Alan Hernandez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Natomas rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 4-1 victory. The win was nothing new for Natomas as they're now sitting on six straight.

Natomas' victory bumped their record up to 12-7-3. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 18-5-2.
