There's no place like home for Diamond, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

While Diamond won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-17.

Aubrey Ball paced Diamond's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ball were helped by Kenzie Crook and Lilly Hoyer, who contributed 15 assists each. Ball was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Diamond's victory bumped their record up to 17-8-1. As for El Dorado Springs, they dropped their record down to 12-15-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Diamond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Marionville on the 16th. As for El Dorado Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Warsaw on the 16th.
