Soccer Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Fork's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Patriots are ranked 52nd).

West Fork has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Goose Creek Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.

While West Fork had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
