Volleyball Recap: Hayfield Starts off Right with Win over Justice + How To Watch

Hayfield had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Justice Wolves 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Hayfield never let Justice on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-23.

Abraham Walker II paced Hayfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Walker II got some help from Luis Soto and his ten assists. Soto was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayfield will head out to take on Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 7:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Justice, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against McLean at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
