Man couldn't beat Belfry on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Hillbillies came up short against the Pirates, falling 15-8. The Hillbillies have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Man's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Belfry, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Man will take on Calhoun at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.85 runs per game on average), something the Hillbillies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Belfry, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Chapmanville Regional on the 1st.
