Football Recap: Brandywine Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Brandywine lost against Berrien Springs back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats lost 47-26 to the Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 464th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 161st).

When it comes to explaining why Brandywine lost, don't look at Kaeden Warfield. Despite the final result, he rushed for 86 yards and a pair of scores.

Berrien Springs found their leader in sophomore Braelin Hurst, who rushed for 131 yards and two TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.

This is the second loss in a row for Brandywine and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for Berrien Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandywine will take on Mt. Clemens at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Berrien Springs, they will face off against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
