With a playoff game on the line, Sequoyah rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Habersham Central Raiders 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Chiefs as they're now sitting on four straight.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-18.
Jordyn Mcrobert was nothing short of spectacular: she had 24 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.
Sequoyah couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 43% of their attack attempts. They are a perfect 3-0 when when their percentage is at least 0.4.
Sequoyah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season. As for Habersham Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 28-13 record.
Sequoyah is on the road again on Saturday to play Woodward Academy at 5:00 p.m. Woodward Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sequoyah surely won't give up without a fight. Habersham Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
