Volleyball Recap: Avery County Gets the Win + How To Watch

The Avery County Vikings earned a 3-1 win over the Wilkes Central Eagles on Tuesday.

While Avery County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wilkes Central scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Avery County had a senior duo take command as Hallie Johnson had 21 assists and 15 digs and Kylie Holtsclaw had 14 digs and four aces. Holtsclaw is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lila Holtsclaw, who had 15 digs.
