The high-scoring effort was just what the Conquerors needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Meanwhile, Ahoskie Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 10-7 to Community Christian.
Keira Lassiter put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Lauren Dickens led a balanced group of hitters, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Kinsley Dunlow was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
