Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Franklin Academy walked away with it. They blew past the Clinton Dark Horses 5-0 on Monday. Considering Franklin Academy have won 17 matchups by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Clinton from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Franklin Academy pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those 13 games. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-3.

Looking ahead, Franklin Academy will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. Seaforth will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Franklin Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
