Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Wildcats vs. Tri-Valley Vikings
Wilmington came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Tri-Valley Vikings by a score of 2-0.
Wilmington easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.
Skylar Rossow had a dynamite game for Wilmington, getting 17 digs and three aces. Rossow is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last four games she's played.
Wilmington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Beecher the next time they take the court. Wilmington will head out to face Beecher at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Tri-Valley will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
