Baseball Recap: Knippa Crushers vs. Charlotte Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sabinal, Knippa was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Charlotte Trojans. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crushers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Joaquin G was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Knippa is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-11 otherwise. G was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
